Bioeconomy Roadmap for Poland

Updated: 5/5/2026, 6:49:53 AM

The "Bioeconomy Roadmap for Poland" – a document representing a giant step towards modern agriculture – was presented at a conference in Puławy.

On March 31, 2026, Agaris Myco Poland employees participated in the event "BIOGOSPODARKA 2030+ From Roadmap to Implementation." Over 140 representatives of government, science, and business discussed the development directions of the Polish bioeconomy. As a leader in the substrate market, Agaris Myco is at the heart of this work – we want to have a real impact on what our industry will look like in a decade.

Why was this event so important?

  • Strategic presentations: We heard about EU regulations from Agata Kotkowska (European Commission) and the role of biotechnology in innovation, as discussed by Professor Stanisław Bielecki.

  • Action Plan: Piotr Jurga presented the Roadmap, which outlines the path to full circularity.

  • Mushroom Growing as a Model of Circular Economy: Izabela Pisarek (SBGU) has proven that our industry is a model for a circular economy. What others consider a by-product becomes a valuable resource for us.

At Agaris Myco, we combine the scale of a leader with expert knowledge. Together with SBGU, we ensure that Polish mushroom farming is a modern and strong element of the European bioeconomy.
