Agaris Myco Poland is an experienced producer of mushroom growing substrate, working with professional mushroom growers in Poland and abroad. We combine modern production technology with expert knowledge to deliver stable, repeatable and efficient substrate that forms the foundation for high yields.

Agaris Myco Poland was built on the foundations of two family-owned plants producing mushroom growing substrate for the Polish market for more than 40 years. The company operates two production sites in central Poland and two more in Ukraine.

Growth of Agaris Myco Poland

The history of today's Agaris Myco Poland began as a family initiative and includes successive stages of technological, organizational and international development.

  1. 1978–1982
    In Orpelow, Mykogen launched compost production for its own needs and then a mushroom spawn production plant.
  2. 1995–2005
    Phase II substrate production started, followed by the expansion of Phase II and III production in Karszew with additional tunnels.
  3. 2006–2020
    Expansion into Ukraine began with plants in Vilya and Uman and the development of Phase II and III production there.
  4. 2012–2019
    The company went through ownership changes, the acquisition of Fungis and a merger of entities, finally adopting the name Agaris Myco Poland Sp. z o.o.
  5. 2018
    The company became the first in Poland to produce organic mushroom growing substrate.
  6. Today
    Agaris Myco Poland is a modern producer of mushroom substrates, combining experience, international development and growing environmental and quality standards.
